Ode to Tise In the shelter of your arms My heart has found a resting place. After many years, being tossed on a restless sea, I find comfort in your embrace. With you, all my fragmented pieces Finally become a whole, And a blanket of contentment Stills my wandering soul. To walk with you hand in hand, Truly is, heaven here, on earth, and, I, having often talked of love, Finally know it's worth. Should God in His infinite mercy, Grant a time for you and me, With my heart then knowing completeness, I can slip out to eternity. by: Betty

Love Just You
Love just you and I want you to be mine. I need you to be with me all the time. I know you've had a life all your own. Now love me and let the past be gone.
Before you to another I said "I do" After you to no one else could I be true. Forever would be just a pause in time, If you'd say you wanted to be mine.
Just to please -is my desire in life. If you'd say you would like to be my wife. Take my heart, my wants, desires too. Take my heart, I give them all to you.

My Little Red Shoes
Looking back I see people considered us to be poor, But our home was filled with much love and laughter. What child could possibly want for anything more.
You sacrificed and saved each and every penny. Little did I know how many times you gave to us Even though it was leaving you little, if any.
There were so many things we needed and could use, Yet, somehow you managed your little girl's dream. Thank you, Mom, for buying those little red shoes.
